A useful status note would say
- Bill 208 has not passed.
- The committee has no scheduled meeting right now.
- Written submissions are closed.
- The September 24 deferral remains the latest committee action.
- Any future amendment path will be posted publicly.
Fairness point
Because Bill 208 would affect lawful adult access if passed, affected people deserve a plain process explanation before the file moves again.
