Fall Civic Limits Note: Adult Choice and Public Safety

Adult choice can coexist with public safety, but restrictions need a stated limit, a review date, and proof that legal adults are not being driven to worse channels.

This fall, the adult-rights argument is not a blank cheque. It is a request for limits: define the objective, show the enforcement plan, and put the rule back in front of the public after it has evidence.

  • State the objective in measurable terms.
  • Protect legal adult channels while youth access is targeted.
  • Avoid permanent assumptions where a review clause would do the job.
